Tiny Harris and T.I. Honor His Late Sisters Life with Jubilant Celebration

Publish date: 2024-06-08

Tiny Harris and her husband, rapper T.I. held a jubilant celebration for his late sister Precious Harris this past weekend.

The “King’s” sister died on Feb. 22 after being involved in a nasty car wreck. The rapper and his wife decided to celebrate the 66-year-old’s passing with a lively home-going party instead of a traditional repast.

The event was arranged by a family friend, Hannah King, who noted that over 1000 people attended the “service” in Atlanta at venue Revel Midtown on Ellsworth Industrial Blvd. The funeral service was reportedly held at Salem Bible Church.

Tiny shared a video of the event to her Instagram page and explained that she went all out for her sister-in-law’s ceremony, with no expense spared.

I’m a superstar! Your home going just showed how special of an individual u are!! Shine on sis!! & throw some of that shine down on me!! Till we meet again…R.I.H 🙏🏽👑.”

Several of the music couple’s celebrity friends were in attendance at the event, including Monica Brown, KeKe Wyatt, Kandi Burruss, Reginae Carter, Toya Wright, Shekinah Davis and many others to pay their respects to Precious.

T.I. added in a separate caption, “I promised to celebrate your Life and damnit that’s EXACTLY WHAT WE DID!!! Thanks to all the family ,friends , and supporters who been lifting us up in prayer and came out to show LOVE for my BIG Sister!!!!”

Harris, 66, died after being involved in a car accident in Atlanta on Feb. 13. A recent police report said she had an asthma attack while driving, lost consciousness and veered into a utility pole. Although she would be rushed to Atlanta’s Grady Hospital, Harris succumbed to her still-unspecified injuries a week later. She left behind three children, Kareem “Plug” Chapman, Kayama Chapman, and Avis Chapman-Reese .

Fans have offered the Harris family their condolences and prayers.

“So sorry for your loss. Praying 🙏🏾 for strength and comfort during this difficult time.”

“I’m praying for y’all family, she is in a better place now ❤️🙏🏽.”

“What a lively Celebration! You guys did that! She would be soo proud praying for the Harris fam ❤️.”
